He has a proven track record of scaling and growing software businesses across Fortune 500 companies, SMBs, and government sectors, including executive roles at ADP, Paycor, Thomson Reuters, and Dun & Bradstreet. Moneesh holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business. He is passionate about fostering innovation, delivering client-centric solutions, and building high-performing, purpose-driven teams.
As the Chief Product Officer, Janelle focuses on our mission of designing and delivering simple, intuitive products that solve our clients' problems and ensuring clients are receiving value throughout their entire journey with gWorks. Janelle has more than 15 years of experience working in Client Success, Product Design & Ownership, R&D, Sales, and Marketing. Janelle obtained her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and then a Master's Degree from Columbia University in New York City. She joined gWorks in 2012.
As Chief Financial Officer, Rebekah oversees the company’s financial strategy and performance, driving profitable growth through strategic planning and execution. She leads financial planning, budgeting, and analysis while ensuring accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance. With a strong passion for operational reporting and KPIs, she leverages data-driven insights to enhance decision-making and optimize investment strategies. Rebekah brings over 30 years of executive experience, having served as CFO, COO, and in other leadership roles across middle-market and large public companies. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Oklahoma State University and an MBA from the McCombs School of Business at UT Austin.
As the Chief Client Officer at gWorks, John is dedicated to delivering a best-in-class experience for our clients, ensuring their success remains at the heart of everything we do. With extensive experience in the software and financial service industries, he has held executive roles with Paycor, HSBC and Citibank, where he drove customer-centric strategies and enabled accelerated business growth. John holds a Bachelor of Commerce role from McMaster University's School of Business in Ontario, Canada.
As the Chief Revenue Officer, Eric is responsible for leading the Sales and Marketing teams and efforts as gWorks drives to fulfill our mission to enable and empower every public leader to build smarter governments and stronger communities with simple, integrated technologies. Eric brings to gWorks a diversity of experience in growing and scaling software companies, specifically in the GovTech space, having led Sales and Marketing, as well as Product Management, User Experience Design, Software Engineering, and Product Training teams. Eric earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and an MBA from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln.
Rob is a seasoned technology leader focused on building, delivering and operating high-volume, high-availability solutions spanning many early-stage and Fortune 500 companies. He leverages his depth of technical, operational and systems development to help startup and turnaround companies achieve long-term organizational growth and stability. Rob has held technical leadership roles and contributed to major initiatives at companies including Rosetta Stone, AOL, IDX, MSNBC and H&R Block. Most recently, Rob served as CTO at several early-stage companies, including Author-it Software, where he led the development of an AWS-native, multi-tenant regulatory document authoring and lifecycle management system for the Life Sciences industry. Throughout his career, Rob has successfully executed technology-based projects including private equity investment, solutions architecture strategy and technical product acquisition planning and execution. He holds several key technology patents.
Joy is the Vice President of People and Culture, bringing over 18 years of experience in Talent Acquisition and Strategic Human Resources and a passion for aligning talent strategy with business goals. She specializes in building HR functions from the ground up, developing processes and policies that create strong, people-first cultures.
With a Master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and certification as a Gallup Strengths Coach, Joy is dedicated to understanding people and helping them thrive. She takes a strategic, employee-centered approach to fostering engagement, enhancing workplace culture, and driving organizational success. Her leadership ensures that people and culture remain at the heart of the company’s growth and evolution.
As the Director of Business Integration, Brock is focused on scaling gWorks through the rapid adoption of machine learning, artificial intelligence, and other technology driven initiatives. Brock brings a process driven and data centric background to the gWorks team, having spent several years as a data analyst and four years in the United States Navy as an Aviation Electronics Technician. He received a Bachelors in Finance and Business Analytics from Boise State University as well as a masters in Data Science and Analytics from Old Dominion University.
As Chairman, Joseph Heieck leads gWorks’ strategic direction, drives M&A success, and serves as a key ambassador for the company. From 2015 to 2024, he was President & CEO, during which time gWorks grew its client base by 2,000% and transformed into a modern, cloud-native ERP platform for local governments.
A graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Joseph served a decade as a U.S. Navy Intelligence Officer before earning his MBA from Harvard Business School, where he has also spoken on small business leadership. He built gWorks through the acquisition of GIS Workshop in 2015, setting the stage for its evolution and growth.
